stress energy is our ability to adapt, respond, protect, and show up in this dance of life.
We adapt to relationships, to systems, cultures, institutions, and environments that don’t often support our needs for safety, belonging, dignity, rest, or expression. What looks like “the problem” is often an intelligent adaptation, because when there isn’t enough safety, space, support, resources or permission for the stress cycle to complete, to express and process through the experience, it becomes “stored” and nervous system stays looping.
the body stays in protection and disconnection mode, but we are not mean to live there. the truth is we are meant to be in CONNECTION.
If we ass to this that our bodies have not evolved to be living in this constant stimulation, exhaustion, isolation, pressure, expectations, and 24/7 live-streamed horror that our body unconsciously absorbs.
The good news is when we begin to understand the language of the body, new possibilities become available. Understanding how your biology works is the portal to self trust, resilience, transforamtion and reclaiming a deeper relationship with yourself and the world around you.
When I started to befriend my own nervous system…to understand its rhythms, sensations, impulses, and subtle language… it changed everything for me, especially this toxic shame, disconnection from my own body, my pleasure, my instincts and intuition that I once learned to embody. And over the years, I’ve witnessed similar shifts in the women I work with.
Not through fixing.
Not through forcing.
But through learning how to listen and come into relationship with themselves.Through creating the conditions for their systems to soften, reorganize, and reconnect with the inner wisdom what has always been there.
I created this workbook because I believe this kind of knowledge should be accessible.Not only for individual healing, but for collective healing. Because I believe the world changes when we stop relating to ourselves as problems to solve…and start listening to the intelligence of the body.
