Take a moment to return to yourself.

A somatic space for reconnecting with your body, your inner wisdom, and your embodied sense of aliveness.

Your body is not the problem.
It is the portal. The way you adapted, protected, and learned to survive makes sense in the context of what you’ve lived through. This work is about building a different relationship with yourself — one rooted in curiosity, care, choice, and the wisdom of the body.

why this body-led work matters

We live in a world that often pulls us out of relationship.

Out of relationship with our bodies.
Out of relationship with our emotions, needs, desires, and boundaries.
Out of relationship with each other.
And out of relationship with the living world around us.

Many of us are taught to treat the body as a machine to manage, optimize, discipline, and override.

Keep going.
Be productive.
Be available.
Be acceptable.
Push through.

But the body was never designed to exist in constant separation, urgency, and survival mode.

Your body is not broken.

It is responding.

Our nervous systems are living, sensing systems continuously shaped by experience, relationship, culture, environment, biology, and time.

The anxiety, numbness, overthinking, perfectionism, people-pleasing, shutdown, hyper-independence, and exhaustion that many of us experience are not signs of personal failure.

They are intelligent adaptations.

Ways our bodies learned to protect us, maintain connection, seek belonging, and survive within the conditions we have moved through.

And those conditions are not only personal.

They are collective.

Our bodies are shaped by families, communities, cultures, social expectations, economic systems, histories, and the environments we inhabit.

The pressure to perform, achieve, consume, stay productive, stay small, disconnect from our needs, or abandon ourselves in order to belong does not come from nowhere.

Neither does the chronic stress many of us carry.

Our bodies are responding to a world shaped by overstimulation, uncertainty, inequality, oppression, violence, ecological grief, political instability, and systems that often prioritize productivity over relationship, extraction over reciprocity, and performance over aliveness.

This is why somatic work is not about simply helping ourselves tolerate more.

It is about returning to relationship.

Relationship with ourselves.

Relationship with our bodies.

Relationship with each other.

Relationship with the living world we are part of.

From a somatic and animist perspective, the body is not an object to control.

It is a living intelligence.

A place of sensing, communication, wisdom, expression, and connection.

The goal is not to become endlessly regulated so we can remain comfortable within what harms us.

The goal is to develop the capacity to listen.

To discern:

What belongs to the past and needs care?

What belongs to the present and needs action?

What is mine to transform?

What is mine to protect?

What am I carrying that was never mine to hold?

Through this work, we begin creating a different relationship with our own aliveness.

Not by forcing change.

Not by bypassing pain.

But by building the capacity to feel, respond, choose, create boundaries, experience pleasure, and move through life with deeper self-trust.

Because personal healing does not happen in isolation.

We are shaped by the world, and we shape the world through the ways we relate, create, resist, nurture, and care.

Returning to ourselves is not an escape from the collective.

It is remembering that we belong to it.

the body is not something to control. It’s something to come into relationship with.

Hi, I'm Olga!

I’m Olga — a trauma-trained somatic nervous system coach, embodiment practitioner, and creator of The Return, Soma Yoga, and Centered in Chaos.

My work weaves together mindbody therapeutic techniques, traditional coaching,  nervous system science of stress and trauma, somatic psychology and movement, therapeutic yoga, and parts work,  to support women and femmes in reconnecting with themselves, rebuilding self-trust, and reclaiming their embodied self-authority.

This work is deeply personal to me, not just professional.

After years of navigating complex trauma, chronic stress, addiction, and health challenges, real transformation began when I stopped trying to force myself to heal and started to get compassionately curious about  the language of my body instead.

Now I support others in reconnecting with who they already are underneath the conditioning, chronic stress, and survival patterns they once needed to survive.

all of you is welcome here.

you are not broken.

Your nervous system is doing exactly what it learned to do: adapt, protect, and help you survive in a world that often asks too much, too fast, and without pause.

Many of the patterns we struggle with — tension, overwhelm, anxiety, shutdown, people-pleasing, disconnection, over-functioning — are not signs that something is wrong with you. They are intelligent adaptations shaped through lived experience.

Somatic work approaches healing differently.

Not only through insight or changing thoughts, but through the body itself: sensation, movement, breath, rhythm, expression, and felt experience. Because many survival patterns live in physiology, not just the mind.

Transformation happens when the nervous system experiences enough safety and support to soften old reflexes and practice new ways of being.

Not perfection.
Not constant calm.

But more capacity to feel, rest, express, connect, respond with choice, and stay in relationship with yourself even in difficult moments.

This work is not about becoming a more productive or efficient machine.

It’s about becoming more fully human in an often inhumane world.

your next step, if you choose to take it

Whether you’re looking for deeper 1:1 support, a place to move and reconnect in community, or simply a gentler way to begin understanding your nervous system, there’s a space for you here.

You don’t need to have it all figured out.
You don’t need to be “healed enough.”
And no part of you is too much or unwelcome here.

Your body is not broken.
It adapted for a reason.

And maybe this is your invitation to begin listening differently.
