Soma Yoga is a holistic practice that integrates yoga, somatics, and nervous system science. Rather than focusing on achieving perfect poses, it emphasizes mindful, embodied movement—helping you attune to your body’s wisdom, sensations, emotions, and instincts to organically release tension and stored stress patterns.
Rooted in the understanding that the body holds memory and that healing happens through experience, Soma Yoga supports the release of long-held patterns shaped by trauma, conditioning, and chronic stress. Regular practice can restore a sense of felt safety in the nervous system and offer profound benefits to the body, mind, and heart—nurturing the well-being of the entire soma (body as a living system) and guiding you back home to the deep intelligence already within you.
Through curious exploration of movement and breath, Soma Yoga gently reeducates the nervous system and musculature, engaging neuroplasticity—the brain and body’s ability to form new, more supportive neural pathways. This rewiring allows the system to self-regulate more effectively, shift out of survival responses, and open to deeper connection with others, the world, and your true embodied Self.
The practice builds nervous system flexibility—the capacity to move between states of activation and rest with greater ease. It strengthens the vagus nerve, enhances emotional regulation, and cultivates embodied resilience. In a culture conditioned by patriarchy and productivity—where worth is measured by doing, output, competition, and dopamine-driven goals—our bodies often carry the weight of self-sacrifice, people-pleasing, and internalized pressure to “keep it together.” ( especially female and other oppressed bodies ).
The female nervous system in particular doesn’t thrive on dopamine and grind. It thrives on oxytocin—the hormone of connection, softness, pleasure, touch, and relational safety.
That’s why many practices here are rooted in female nervous system wisdom—while still being deeply supportive for all genders. Because every nervous system longs for safety, connection, and aliveness.

There are 2 live sessions every month. We start with a themed somatic practice, followed by a short integration ritual, and time for some reflections, Q&A, and the opportunity to witness and be witnessed in the co-regulating non-judgemental energy of community.
This isn’t mindset work or another fitness class.
This is somatic healing—a body-first approach that blends neurobiology, trauma science, somatic psychology, and ancient wisdom to help you come home to yourself.
What’s often missing in therapy, nervous system work, and even many somatic spaces is movement. Much of our tension, exhaustion, and burnout comes from stress cycles that never got to finish moving through the body.
Stress itself isn’t the enemy. It’s your life force.
After activation, your body is wired to move—through shaking, tears, trembling, deep breath, or instinctive gestures—to complete the cycle. When that movement is interrupted, the energy gets stuck. When it finally releases, it may show up as trembles, sighs, heat waves, or tears… before naturally settling into rest.
And yet, many of us get stuck here: regeneration. Without real replenishment, we stay restless, hypervigilant, or addicted to doing. Modern life runs on dopamine, control, and constant performance—but your nervous system is wired for something deeper: oxytocin, the hormone of connection, safety, presence, and pleasure.
Somatic healing invites you to shift from survival into connection.
To stop overriding your body. To listen. To befriend sensations. To relearn the language your body has always known—as an act of self-love and care.
