Trauma Sensitive Yoga TCTSY is now practiced in over 30 countries and territories worldwide and is one of the most advanced treatment programs that supports individuals with trauma in returning to themselves, feeling safer in the here and now, and befriending their own bodies.

TCTSY is not psychotherapy, nor does it replace it; it is a stand alone therapy and can also be complementary because it works in a completely different way, bottom-up (from the body to the mind). As a TCTSY facilitator, I do not diagnose mental health disorders, and during TCTSY sessions we do not talk about or process past experiences.
Participation in psychotherapy is not required, as TCTSY is a standalone treatment; however, it is recommended to have some form of support system - whether a friend, therapist, coach, spiritual guide, etc. - because working with the body can evoke hidden body memory (implicit memory) to emerge. One effect of trauma is that we may not remember or have words for what happened, so working solely with the mind may not be sufficient. This memory becomes fragmented and stored as implicit memory - we may not remember, but our body still remembers to protect us, and often may perceive threat everywhere.
Although historically, trauma healing has focused solely on the mind and behavior, it is now recognized in trauma literature that remembering the body and the impact of trauma on our entire existence brings significant benefits (Ogden, van der Kolk, Levine, Rothschild, Emerson, Haines). TCTSY supports individuals in their healing journey, acknowledging the holistic impact of trauma on both the mind and body.

Hey there! I'm Olga, your facilitator, and I've been on my own path to well-being and healing for the past 17 years. I know how much it might cost you to be here, to want to seek support, because I've been in a similar place myself - not discounting your experience, of course =). I'm someone who has experienced and lived unconsciously with C-PTSD for the first 25 years of my life. It's tough, and at the same time I believe it doesn't have to be a lifelong sentence.
Looking back a few years before I discovered Trauma Sensitive Yoga, even though I had already done therapy, seemingly had my life together, and even practiced yoga, I still had no knowledge about how trauma impacts the whole bodymind system and continued to harm myself in various ways - even on the yoga mat.
I pushed and forced my body and had no self-compassion or kindness towards myself because in the past, to survive, I had learned to prioritize the needs of others over my own. In exchange for safety and staying in connection with people, I lost touch with my body and my entire self, and my brilliant nervous system adapted in various ways to protect me. I used to think I was broken, but today I know I never was, I have a superpowers =)

After starting, the group is closed, and no one else can join.
Before joining the group, I invite you to a consultation, and together we will decide if now is the right time for you to work with yoga.
You don't have to introduce yourself or say anything (unless you want to) during the sessions
After each session, there is a moment for interaction if you feel you need it.
Throughout the entire cycle, we stay in touch via email.
